Using Wishsy

By downloading or using Wishsy you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it. You need to be 13 or older to have an account.

You're responsible for what you put into the app — the products you save, the lists you make, and what you type into a shared list's chat.

What Wishsy costs

Wishsy is free to use, and the free plan is permanent — it doesn't expire and it isn't a trial. On the free plan you can save as many products as you like, and we actively check the price of five of them. You choose which five, and you can change that whenever you want.

The free plan also gives you one wishlist of your own, one price alert, and lists you can share with one other person. Lists that other people share with you never count against any of this.

Wishsy Pro

Pro is optional. It tracks up to 200 products instead of five, checks prices more often, lifts the limits on alerts and wishlists, adds AI-summarised pros and cons from reviews, and lets a list hold up to 50 people.

You can buy it two ways: as a monthly or yearly subscription that renews until you stop it, or as a single one-time purchase called Lifetime.

• Billing. Pro is sold through the App Store or Google Play. You pay them, not us — we never see or store your card details.
• Renewal (subscriptions only). A monthly or yearly plan renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before it ends. Your store account is charged on renewal at the price shown when you subscribed.
• Cancelling (subscriptions only). Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the period you've already paid for runs out. We can't cancel it for you, because the subscription lives in your store account.
• Lifetime. Lifetime is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Nothing renews, you are never charged again, and there is nothing to cancel — which also means it won't appear in your store account's subscription list. Reinstalling or switching to a new device doesn't cost anything: sign in and tap Restore purchases.
• What "lifetime" means. The lifetime of Wishsy, not yours. It gives you Pro for as long as we run the service. We intend to run it for a long time, but if we ever have to shut Wishsy down we'll tell you as far ahead as we reasonably can, and no refund or part-refund is due if that happens.
• Refunds. We don't give refunds ourselves, on the subscriptions or on Lifetime. Refunds are handled entirely by Apple and Google under their own policies, and they can grant one at their discretion whatever we say here — if they do, Pro ends. None of this affects rights you have under consumer law that cannot be signed away.
• Price changes. If we change a subscription price, the new price only applies after we've told you and you've agreed, as your app store requires. Otherwise your subscription simply stops renewing. Changing the Lifetime price never affects anyone who has already bought it — there is nothing left to charge.
• Family Sharing. Where your store supports it, Pro can be shared with your family group at no extra cost.

If your subscription lapses, nothing you saved is deleted. Your products, lists and history all stay exactly where they are — you go back to five tracked products and choose which five. Lifetime doesn't lapse, so this never applies to it.

There are no ads in Wishsy, on either plan.

Prices, and why you should check them

This is the part that matters most.

• Prices, discounts, ratings and availability are fetched automatically from third-party retail pages. We don't control them and can't guarantee they're accurate or current.
• We recheck prices periodically, not continuously — once a day on the free plan, several times a day on Pro. A price can change between checks.
• Some retailers block automated price checks. Products from those sites may stop updating, and the price shown may be stale.
• Price history and statistics are provided for information only and are not a prediction of what a price will do next.

Always confirm the price on the retailer's own page before buying. Wishsy is not a party to any purchase you make, earns nothing from your purchases, and isn't responsible for anything you buy, or for a retailer's delivery, returns or refunds.

Notifications

Price alerts are a convenience, not a guarantee. We may fail to notify you — because a price check failed, a retailer blocked us, your device was offline, or notifications were disabled. Don't rely on Wishsy for anything time-critical.

Shared lists

When you share a list, the people you invite can see it, and — depending on the role you give them — add to and remove from it. Anyone with a valid invite code can join until that code expires or you revoke it. Give codes only to people you mean to let in.

Don't use a list's chat to post anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights. A list's owner can delete any message on their list, and we can remove content or accounts that break these terms.

Trademarks and content

Product names, images, logos and descriptions shown in Wishsy belong to their respective owners and are displayed to help you identify a product you chose to save. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of any retailer or brand that appears in the app.

Availability

Wishsy is provided as-is. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it. We aim to keep it running but don't promise it will always be available or error-free.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Wishsy — including money lost on a purchase made on the basis of a price we displayed. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending it

You can stop using Wishsy and delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy for how. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Changes

If we change these terms we'll update the date at the top. Continuing to use Wishsy after a change means you accept it.
